Apple has today announced their next event will be held on March 21st at their campus in Cupertino, California at 10:00am.

The official invite goes by the tagline ‘Let us loop you in.’

Review Roundup: Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge

As of 9th March (Australia time), there are a lot of early reviews coming out based on the very soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

These were announced at a Samsung Unpacked event on February 21st in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

The main differences between the S7 and the S7 Edge is that the Edge variant has a larger screen, curved edges, extra software features for the curved edges and a larger battery.

iOS 10 Wish List

iOS 10 will be Apple’s next mobile operating system for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch coming in 2016.

It is expected like most previous years to be announced in June 2016 at Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference (WWDC) held at the Moscone West venue in San Francisco, USA.

Out of self interest not long after iOS 9 was released to the public last year (non-beta version) I started to ask myself if there was much more that Apple could do to improve iOS besides the obvious ones like home screen widgets, improve performance, customizable control centre and a better designed music app (not to say the current one is terrible)?

As it turns out, I made myself a word document to list all of the things that in my opinion, need to be added or tweaked in iOS 10 or the coming years afterwards.

As of the time writing this blog post initially, it was at 232 and is now at 375.

Rumour: Apple Store in Federation Square Melbourne – UPDATE: CONFIRMED

UPDATE DEC 2017: Apple has officially announced that they will be building a store at Fed Square. Building commences in 2019, and open for the public sometime in 2020. Details: 

Rumour circulating this morning announced on Melbourne’s 3AW Breakfast show believing that part of Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square is going to be knocked down and re-built to incorporate a flagship Apple Store.

The Government and Council cannot provide any further information and this is only a rumour.
